Quidos presently run training courses in Domestic Energy Assessment (DEA) however are in the process of expanding this to cover instruction for the newly required Commercial Energy Assessment (CEA) and commercial Display Energy Certificate (DEC) roles, and shall be shortly announcing training dates.
Quidos is an approved ABBE (Awarding Body for the Built Environment) training provider and as such all of our energy assessor courses will be run in accordance with their guidelines. This ensures that we consistently deliver high quality training from start to finish.
Quidos Q-Mark Floor Plan Training
Floorplans play an important role in the marketing of any property, be it domestic or commercial, not to mention are now an essential part of the calculation process for Energy Performance Certificates.
As such it is vitally important that the information gathering and supply of any floor plan is completed as accurately as possible, to ensure a faithful reproduction of the property and its layout.
Hopefully you will all recognise the importance of accurately measuring properties to ensure faithful EPC results, and keep within the property misdescriptions act, but have you ever thought about what degree of accuracy you should be working to, or what items should or should not be included when recording properties GIA (Gross Internal Area).
Quidos Q-Mark Floor Plan training will address all of these issues and show you how you can not only enhance your accuracy and speed when completing plans but also maximise your earning potential while visiting properties.
Over the last 6 months our training department has been fielding questions from a number of DEA’s relating to EPC’s, EPC software, HIPs and RdSAP conventions.
Subsequently we have developed a number of DEA specific workshops designed to help develop working knowledge of the energy performance certificate market and develop further skills that will hopefully make your role as a DEA a little easier.
These workshops typically run over half or full days and will be conducted at venues across the UK.
